Traveling with ANWB

Spring is in the air! The season in which nature is full of promises. People have plenty of renewed energy to get out and enjoy the outdoors. Fortunately, the first borders within Europe are already opening and vaccinations are also continuing at a steady pace. We are looking forward to offering our customers beautiful trips again. This past year has not been easy for anyone, and still isn’t in many countries, so I really feel for you in that regard.

Together, we dare to start dreaming again about exciting holidays. Here, at ANWB, we see that reflected in the number of bookings as well. Especially for packages in the Netherlands, such as various cycling holidays and city trips. But Europe is also cautiously picking up steam and we now see the first bookings made to especially Austria, Portugal, France and Germany. Of course it helps that at ANWB, you may cancel your trip without any cancellation fees up to 30 days prior departure (and up to 60 days prior when a flight is booked) – exceptions aside. That way, clients can already block their favorite accommodation or roundtrip for ‘when we are allowed to travel again’ and give themselves something to look forward to.

Beautiful moments are there to share

The past year gave us the opportunity to focus completely on constructing the new travel world of ANWB. ANWB’s travel world is a world full of travel inspiration where every traveler can find a holiday that suits him or her. All of our FIT car holidays, group tours, camping tours and cruises will be published together on one ANWB website, one holiday portal. On the website, it is clearly mentioned which holidays and/or tours have membership benefits included. ANWB members but also non-members can start using this new website from this moment onwards. This is a festive moment that I’d like to share with you. In the tab ‘New website’ you’ll read more information about it.

4.8 million potential travelers

In my vlog from last December, I have shared this with you already: ANWB is the biggest association of the Netherlands with almost 4.8 million members. This means that almost every household in the Netherlands somehow has a relationship with ANWB. Read: we have access to an enormous group of potential travelers, and if we add the travel companions of these members, there will be even more of them. This is very valuable for both us and you, our suppliers of unforgettable accommodations and amazing tours and trips. You’ll read more about the membership benefits in the tab ‘Loyalty program’ .

We continue to travel on

Now that our website with membership-tours is ready to be visited and full of inspiring holidays, we continue to travel on quickly into our new travel world. In May, the range of Pharos tours will be added to this unique holiday website. At the beginning of June, the site will be expanded with the long haul tours of FOX Verre Reizen and our Kampeerreizen tours will follow later.
